How the Lord still moves even in the hospital <3

For most of you who didn’t know, I was in and out of the hospital twice and then stayed the night for three days! Sounds like so much fun i know!! It was a party. Anyways if you’re wondering why I was there, I still couldn’t tell you maybe the medication? Who knows. While my time wasn’t the best because it’s the hospital yakno? The Lord still moved many mountains in there.

One day I was so exhausted from everything they gave me and kept waking me up, that I fell asleep and woke up to one of their Chaplin’s coming and ask to pray for me. It was so tender and she was so excited to see that we were American’s. My sql Katy had it on her heart to pray for her. And she started crying and thanking us a million times. It was the most tender thing ever

One other time the Lord moved. I was fresh out of the hospital. Praise the Lord in itself for that. All I was craving was some Orange Juice. Not sure why but? Anyways the hospital has a lovely bakery downstairs that was SO GOOD. I dream about it. I was pretty happy to be finally eating a meal after five days. As I was eating I felt called to pray over this women who’s name was Alexander. She was eating her breakfast and then starts crying. My heart was hurting for her. With the language barrier I had no idea how I could pray for her. I decided to go to good ole google and type” Hi! I’d love to pray for you expect I know no spanish, i’m sorry:(“. We were waiting for the car to arrive to take me back to El Refugio and I just knew I had to pray for her. So I finished my orange juice and walked up to her. And immediately tears start streaming. She was so thankful and kept praying with us. She only shared her name. But we know the Lord knew she needed some prayers and why.

Well, that was just a glimpse of my time in the hospital! It really reminded me that I could be anywhere, and the Lord still moves wherever and whenever. Even at the hospital.

  1. Gabby, I am the other JP and I have to say this is a beautiful testimony. As difficult as it was for you to be in the hospital, God put you there for a reason. Had you not been, no prayers or gratitude from the chaplain and certainly no prayers for the woman who so desperately needed them. God is working through each and every one of you and in your eyes, it’s nothing, but in the eyes of those you bless, it means more than you will ever realize. I will continue to pray for you and all of Squad E to continue making a difference in many lives and most importantly, to bless those people that God puts in your path, even in the hospital.??
