On October 31st my squad and I packed up and went on our way to Foley Alabama.  We had no expectations or I didn’t at least when we arrived to Samaritans purse. When we arrived we were overwhelmed with the amount of love and joy we received. They truly treated us like family. We were treated we SUPER nice showers. I mean they were hot and steamy showers. So many food options and snacks. I lowkey think i gained a good five pounds since being there. And the people who volunteered with us were almost in awe with us. They were so incredibly welcoming and treated us as well like one of there own. One person who stuck out is this guy named Keith. He automatically was one of the first person who was so invested in hearing about my experience in the WorldRace. He played a part in the two weeks as kinda a dad figure. He gave me many hugs, always made it present he was there for us. Another thing that stuck out was the homeowners. I’m not going to lie going into it I was nervous. I’m not a big gal who does yards and tarps roofs. But I truly believed the Lord opened up in my heart room to have a passion sort of for it. We would wake up around 6:00 and have breakfast at 6:30 and leave right after to drive to Pensacola. And the look on the homeowners faces were indescribable. They were so happy and excited as they said having “young adults helping out in the community”. I never realized how many people looked at us racers as a new era to the Christain community. Meaning I don’t think I realized I took off 9 months to follow the Lord and commit to this journey. It made me feel so loved and made me realize this is where I need fo be. That’s sorta all I have to say! As well I am fundraising still and need to raise a lot of money to stay here on the field and continue to spread the love and be apart of the community to let people know about the Lord. If you’d like to donate there’s three ways to help!

  1. Is my venmo ( gabby-gansle ) Any Amount helps and means the WORLD??
  2. Pray for me! Prayers for no covid! Pray for my team and my squad! Pray for my fundraising as well!
  3. The orange button that says donate! That goes directly to my link.
  4. Help me and let me know if you know anyone i can send my support letter to, help me fundraise, pray for me and connect me with people as well to talk to!

Now here’s some cool photos.
